How does the animal trap work?

The trap is a very simple but, effective design. Once the trap has been set-up, placed in position and baited. The animal is lured into the trap by the bait, once the animal enters the trap it will push down on the pedal on the floor, the pedal is connected to a rod that once is triggered releases the spring loaded door capturing the animal inside the trap.
