How does the small animal trap work?

The trap is a very simple but, effective design. Once the trap has been set-up, placed in position and baited, the animal is lured into the trap by the bait. The animal then attempts to eat the bait from hook shaped rod at back of the small animal trap, once movement from the hook shaped rod has occurred, it then triggers the spring loaded door to close.
